Soo wanna know the worst place to go for hot chocolate... Dunkin donuts... the world definitely doesn't run on dunkin...
So how is everyone!!
Last week we saw the Lord's hand in everything we did. Jose was going to be baptized last week but know as you know is traveling to Puerto Rico. He left this morning but as we were meeting with him last night, he told us a miracle that had happened in Puerto Rico. It just so happens that last Saturday, missionaries stopped by his best friend's house. His best friend lives across the street from where he will be moving. Well, his friend just received the missionaries last week and they invited him to church. Jose told us that his friend felt something different about them so he went to Church in Puerto Rico with them and absolutely loved it. So now Jose's best friend that lives in Puerto Rico is taking the missionary discussions there and has told Jose that they are going to read the Book of Mormon together and go to church! Jose is really excited and feels like he is no longer alone in this journey that has been laid out for him. He told us that he has never before in his life felt so close to god. And as Jose posted a picture of himself in front of the Washington DC temple on Facebook, another friend from Puerto Rico is now fellowshipping him because they actually got sealed in the Washington DC temple!!! We are so excited for Jose and just know that even though he wasn't able to be baptized here with us, that the Lord truly is preparing a way for him to make those covenants with him. I have no doubt in my mind that this was the path that will truly bless the rest of Jose's life and we are just so glad we got to be apart of it. The lord is so real. And he truly does love each one of us. Miracles!!!
Rudy and Saida are getting married on Saturday and Rudy should be baptized next Sunday! We are sooo excited for them!! I am just praying that everything will work out for them! Ah this has been the most stressful, best most miracle transfer of my mission!! Last Sunday Rudy didn't even want to come to church! But our Ward mission leader picked him up and man it was one of the best meetings we ever had. The lord is everywhere. Especially in the hard times.
I hope you all have a great week!! I love you!
Elder Cornejo
